Labonte Ends Darlington With Bang

Bobby Labonte was behind the wheel of the No. 77 Dollar General stores Chevrolet at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway for the NASCAR Busch Series race. After qualifying 27th on the grid, Labonte quickly made his way into the top-five during the race.

On lap 136, Labonte tangled with another competitor that resulted in the No. 77 making hard contact with the inside wall on the frontstretch. Labonte climbed from the car uninjured, but the Dollar General stores Chevrolet would have to be towed back to the garage area.
