Big Cup Points Gain for Labonte

Bobby Labonte made a big gain in the 2007 NEXTEL Cup Series point standings after the April 21st Subway Fresh 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Labonte started the Petty Enterprises #43 Cheerios Dodge 26th in the lineup and finished 8th. This was his first top ten finish of 2007. He moved up four spots in the standings to 19th after the 8th race of the season.
